Are Women Allowed to Preach and be Pastors?

The Bible is very clear on this point: in both the Old Testament (OT) and the New Testament (NT), only men were allowed to take on leadership roles within the church and serve as priests/pastors. Female priests are completely unknown in both the OT and the NT. There is not a single exception. If some Christians nevertheless claim that the Bible allows women as priests, it is only because several biblical passages are ignored and others are taken out of context or even deliberately distorted (see chapter 6).

In charismatic and Pentecostal churches we often hear: “You are right, but only if you refer only to the Bible, but the Holy Spirit has shown us that this regulation applied to the church of that time, but no longer to our time.” With these words, the charismatics condemn themselves, because on the one hand they openly admit that the Bible in the NT makes a clear gender division with regard to the offices in the church, and on the other hand it shows that they place themselves above Jesus and abolish His commandments because they want different regulations for our modern times, although the Bible says: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever” (Heb 13:8).

When women claim: “The Lord has shown me that I should be a priestess/pastor”, we ask two questions: firstly, how has the Lord shown you (because it is usually pure imagination) and secondly, which Lord/Spirit has shown you, because the Holy Spirit and the Lord Jesus Christ have certainly not shown you, because God has given a clear order for the church and marriage in both the OT and the NT. The Spirit of God is not a spirit of disorder (1Cor 14:33) and He does not contradict Himself. We have become an effeminate society in which the Word of God no longer has any great significance and everyone takes what he likes for himself.

The difference between equal rights and gender equality

Men and women are equal when it comes to eternal life and a position in the spiritual kingdom of God, but as long as they live on earth, both are not equal in church and marriage according to the Bible, but have certain tasks to fulfill depending on their gender. In other words, man and woman are equal before God in terms of their reward and their position in eternity, but they are not equal in terms of their position in marriage and in the church. It is comparable to an employment relationship: a worker and his boss are both equal before God, but they are not equal on earth, because the worker must submit to his boss, even if the worker would be much more righteous before God. Every man has to subordinate himself in school, work, sport and the military and is not equal. It is similar with the relationship between man and woman, because the Bible is absolutely precise on this point: the role of the woman as ordained by God is that of a helpmate in marriage and in the church, who must not exalt herself above the man or make herself equal to him, but should submit to him. This is not our opinion, but it is God's decision, which is explained in more detail in chapter 4.

The woman punishes herself

A woman does herself no favors if she violates God's commandment in the church and in marriage. She cannot expect the Lord Jesus to accept her as a priestess or as a “master” of any kind, because He himself has forbidden it in the OT and NT. These women forget that although they elevate themselves above men and enjoy public esteem on earth, they also lower their own position in the kingdom of God, because the highest thrones are reserved for the humble and obedient, who make themselves small (Mark 9:35) and do not twist the word of the Bible to achieve their own goals.

A woman can use her many talents in the church and in marriage, as Proverbs 31:10-31 (The Woman Who Fears the Lord) proves, but if she takes on ministries that are not meant for her, it will not be good for her and her family in the long run, as many have already had to experience painfully (e.g. through divorce).

More and more women are looking for something that is not meant for them. They want to be equal to their husbands or even override their husbands, which the Lord Jesus Christ will never tolerate, because He will not delete any of the important passages from the NT for the wishes of these women (1Cor 14:33-37; 1Tim 2:8-15; 1Tim 3:1-7; 1Tim 3:8-13; Eph 5:21-33; Col 3:18-25-4:1; 1Peter 3:1-7; Titus 2:3-5).

These female priests, pastors or preachers often appear tough. Many of them dress as much like men as possible or even have short hair, because of course they also declare the requirement for hair length to be outdated and abolished:

1Cor 11:14-15: "Does not nature [this is about the nature that God made, not the culture that humans make] itself teach you that if a man wears long hair it is a disgrace for him, 15 but if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For her hair is given to her for a covering."

Often these women do not want to discuss biblical passages because the Holy Spirit has supposedly shown them that much of the Bible has supposedly been abolished for our time and culture. And we are seriously supposed to believe this and act according to moods/feelings? They prefer to exclude those from the church who do not accept their position in order to avoid unrest and division. In some women's Christian TV programs, the word of God is used to collect money (TV money, purchase of books, videos). The radiance called for by the apostle Peter in “the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious” (1 Peter 3:4) is completely lacking in these women. They want to be power women and place themselves above the men who are too weak for them. The visible result in many modern churches is hardened women and effeminate men. These are fruits of disobedience that Paul would not tolerate.

Fortunately, there are also women in the churches (especially in the Baptist and Brethren churches) who have no problem with the commandment of submission in church and marriage. They defend the words of Jesus and support the men in their ministry. It is women who make the difference. It is now up to us whether we stick to this and take the uncomfortable path or follow the spirit of the times and place women above men.

women preach church pastor
An example of a sister from Austria

A positive example of a sister from Austria:

Question: “Do you think women should be allowed to be preachers and pastors in the church?”

Answer: “What I think doesn't matter, but what Jesus Christ wants, and “HE” doesn't want that, so I too think that, women 'shouldn't' be pastors in the church, it's for a reason!!!!”

Original (German): "Denkst du, dass Frauen in der Gemeinde Predigerinnen und Pastorinnen sein dürfen?” Answer: "Was ich denke, spielt keine Rolle, sondern was Jesus Christus möchte, und "ER" will das nicht, also denke auch ich, dass, Frauen 'nicht' in der Gemeinde Predigerinnen Pastorinnen sein sollen, es hat seinen Grund!!!”

The fact is: women have always been very important in the church, but their job is to support men in their ministry as priests/pastors. We are not God and we did not write the Bible, so we must stick to what God has given us and not adapt the Bible to the spirit of the age. Jesus warned against this and spoke of a narrow way that only a few find. Hours of praise will be of no use to many:

Mt 7:13-21: "Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few... 21 Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven."

Question: Is it the Father's will that women should take precedence over men in the church and in marriage?

12. Summary

1. Women can serve in the church, but cannot hold all positions

Some Christians keep saying: “Where does the Bible say that women are not allowed to serve in the church?” First of all, it makes us sad when it is repeatedly claimed that women are supposedly not allowed to serve in the church. This is wrong. God and we Christian men love women. They are the last and most beautiful thing that God has created, they are the crown of creation. The Bible emphasizes what a blessing it is for a man to have a wife who walks in the way of God. There is nothing better for a man. A church with only men would be like a vase without flowers. The Bible not only says that women may serve in the church, but also that they should or even must serve, and it lists several examples. The only question is what is meant by “serve”, because there are different ministries and tasks. According to the Bible, it is not the woman's task to lead and preach in the church, but to support the men in this task and to maintain the connection between the members within the church and to help each other. So the ministry between men and women is different and both ministries are equally important. A woman's ministry is NOT less valuable than a man's ministry. It is just different.

There are many ways in which women can contribute their talents to the church. The only activity forbidden to women is public teaching or the exercise of spiritual authority over men. This of course includes serving as a priest/pastor. Does this make women less valuable or less important? No, rather this provision of God gives them the opportunity to focus on the gifts and ministries intended for them, which are in line with God's plan.

In practical terms, this means: A man can preach from the pulpit, but they are only words. But in pastoral care, women often take on important tasks because they can empathize better with a person and know how to help in a specific case in order to heal and rebuild destroyed souls. This personal relationship, the concrete help, prayer and advice of a woman is often more effective than the purely factual preaching of a man. That is why we thank our women for all their manifold services in the church and will never devalue these activities in any way, but on the contrary, we give our women all the honor. For it is not we who have established the order for the church and the office of the male pastor, but God Himself, both in the OT and the NT. We must not change the words of the Lord out of false humility (women do not want weak and insecure men), but must also follow our Lord Jesus in this point and defend His word against the false teachers in order to protect the church from apostasy.

God is not unjust and He does not discriminate against women. If someone equates subordination with discrimination, that is very questionable, because the path to the kingdom of God is just as open to women as it is to men. But there is a clear division of tasks in marriage and the church, which is not a judgment on spiritual status.

Subordination exists everywhere (school, sport, military, profession, family, club...), it has nothing to do with discrimination, except for those who do not want to accept God's order, like Lucifer, who wanted to place himself above God. An athlete cannot rise above his coach and put together a team according to his wishes, but every athlete must submit, otherwise he will be excluded. It is the same in the military: a soldier cannot give his own orders, otherwise he will be punished and, in the worst case, shot. It's the same in the family: Children cannot tell their parents what to do and what not to do, but must submit to their parents. This is also the case in marriage and in the family. Submission is a very good quality for stabilizing a society, and those who adhere to it will receive God's blessing. Submission is only not valid if you are asked to sin against God. That is the only exception.

All people must serve and submit in their lives, including men. Jesus himself is the best example of submission and service in the world, even though He is our Lord. He lived for His bride (the church), served her and protected her from false teachings, He washed the disciples' feet and He will also serve us in the kingdom of heaven. Those who do not follow Jesus' example, who place themselves above Jesus, who want to abolish his words and abolish submission, will not receive eternal life, as can be seen from several verses (Mt 7:13-21).

2. Different roles of the sexes in the OT

God has only called men to spiritual leadership positions in the church because the man is a symbol of Christ, but the woman is a symbol of the church. To avoid misunderstandings: God did not do this because men are better teachers or because women are less worthy or less intelligent (which is not the case). It is simply the way God envisioned a church to function. This is explained very clearly in the Old Testament:

  1. There were only ever male priests of God. Throughout the Bible, only men were allowed to exercise the priesthood. In the Old Testament, there were special regulations and special clothing for men only. Women had no leadership roles and no priestess clothing, because they were not allowed to be priests. God has always made a clear distinction between the sexes, not us.
  2. If a woman had presumed to say: “God has shown me that I should be a priestess”, no one among the people of Israel would accept this (neither men nor women), because God clearly stated at the beginning of the Bible that only men should be priests. This woman, who would have presumed to place herself above God's law and above men, would have been excluded from the community as a rebel against God at the time of the Old Testament. She would not have been allowed to serve in the Jerusalem temple and if she had tried to do so by force, she would have been thrown out by force or even stoned to death. God has always made a clear distinction between the sexes, not us.
  3. Women were allowed to lead a singing group (Miriam; Exodus 15:20), women were prophetesses like Miriam (Exodus 15:20), and Deborah (Judges 4) and they were even allowed to be judges (Deborah; Judges 4) who also gave instructions for war. But women were never priests and had no functions either in connection with the Ark of the Covenant or in the service of the Jerusalem temple and synagogue. In the Old Testament, no woman was allowed to be a priestess, regardless of whether she was a virgin or not. Only the pagan peoples had women priests, especially in Greece (as at the Oracle of Delphi). Women are particularly susceptible to spiritual seduction, which is why it was mostly women who received visions and messages from demons, in Delphi even from Satan himself. God has always made a clear distinction between the sexes, not us.
  4. Every priest was only allowed to marry a virgin, not a divorcee nor a widow (Leviticus 21). A woman who was no longer a virgin was never allowed to take a priest as her husband. God forbade it. But there is nothing in the Bible about a priestess who is only allowed to marry a man who has never had sexual intercourse with a woman (“virgin”). God has always made a clear distinction between the sexes, not us.
  5. When children and women ruled, it was considered a curse or a punishment from God, Isa 3:12: “My people - infants are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, your guides mislead you and they have swallowed up the course of your paths..”
  6. The entire Old Testament was written by men, all 22 scrolls with the 39 books (see Structure of the Bible and Book order). Without men, women would have no Old Testament and no New Testament. The entire Bible (100%) was written only by men, including the books of Ruth and Esther, which are named after women. There is no quota for women. What may sound disrespectful to some women has a clear meaning. Without men, women would never have heard of Moses, Abraham, David, Solomon and Jesus. God has always made a clear distinction between the sexes, not us.
  7. In the synagogue, the word of God was only ever read by men. The Levites were a priestly class dedicated specifically to the word of God and the ceremonies and sacrifices. God has always made a clear distinction between the sexes, not us.
  8. The priest was only allowed to enter the Holy of Holies in the Jerusalem Temple once a year (on the Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur). Only he had direct contact with God on this day. Not a single woman was ever allowed to appear before God on Yom Kippur, otherwise she would die; over the centuries it was always only men. Women were denied direct access to God/Jesus in the Holy of Holies in the Jerusalem Temple. God has always made a clear distinction between the sexes, not us.

If some Christians see the strict restrictions on women in the Old Testament as injustice and discrimination, then they are arguing with God, because they cannot hold men responsible for this. A fight for more women's rights in the church is therefore not a fight against men, but against God himself, because He has clearly regulated the priesthood. There has never been an equal status for men and women with regard to certain offices and positions in the state, church and marriage; women have always had to be subordinate because God (and not man) wanted it that way.

3. Different roles of the sexes in the NT

The Old Testament order that only men should exercise priestly offices in the church was confirmed in the New Testament. There was no change to this law, but rather a strengthening of it. Jesus himself set an example of submission to his Father and served as Lord of his church. In the same way, women should also submit in the church and in marriage, because whenever the word “submission” appears in the NT, it is in connection with the LORD Jesus Christ. It would be a great sensation that would have to be explained in more detail in the Bible if women were now also given the priesthood in the church. Several decades after the resurrection of Jesus, nothing has changed biblically in the old order, as the Acts of the Apostles, the 21 letters (epistles) and the Book of Revelation prove. There is not a single passage in the entire Bible that encourages women to be priests, but there are several verses that forbid it (1Cor 14:33-37; 1Tim 2:8-15; 1Tim 3:1-7; 1Tim 3:8-13; Eph 5:21-33: Col 3:18-25-4:1; 1Peter 3:1-7; Titus 2:3-5). God has made a clear distinction between the sexes in the NT, not us.

3.1 PAUL RESTORES THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF WOMEN'S SUBORDINATION

After the resurrection of Jesus, a liberal attitude developed in some churches (especially in Corinth) over the decades, in which women thought they could hold offices in the church that were not intended for them. In his letter to the Corinthians, Paul therefore warned against this “disorder”, which must be avoided in “all churches”. Paul brought the church back to its original state, and this was decades after the resurrection of Jesus:

1Cor 14:33-38: “For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints, 34 the women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission [Strong-No. G5293 hupotassó means: to submit, to subordinate, to put under, to bend, to be obedient], as the Law also says. 35 If there is anything they desire to learn, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church. 36 Or was it from you that the word of God came? Or are you the only ones it has reached? 37 If anyone thinks that he is a prophet, or spiritual, he should acknowledge that the things I am writing to you are a command of the Lord. 38 If anyone does not recognize this, he is not recognized.“

Note: The word “submission” mentioned in verse 34 is the same as in John 2:51, where it is said that Jesus was subject to his parents (see below). Jesus had no problem with submitting, but the feminists in the churches have a big problem with the Word of God and want to abolish it and adapt it to modern times.

Is this not clear and obvious, so that any further discussion is superfluous? As you can clearly see, it is about “all the churches”, not just the Corinthian church, and it is emphasized: “as the Law also says”. Once again, these words were written decades after Jesus' resurrection and were therefore commanded by Jesus. It is about “order” and “peace” (verse 33) in the church and it is about “all the churches of the saints”. And it is about “a command of the Lord”, not an opinion of men.

Again and again, charismatics and Pentecostals, but also the Protestant or Evangelical churches, claim that it is no longer a “confusion/disorder” today when women speak in the church assembly and are pastors. They simply claim that 1 Corinthians 14:33-37 no longer applies to us today, but only to that time. This begs the question: who gives them the right to declare something from the Bible invalid? And what else should be abolished? No, that applies all the more to our generation in the end times.

Many women and weak men who do not know the word of God sufficiently do not want to follow these rules of Jesus because they prefer to take the easy way out and follow the spirit of the age. To contradict this would only cause them problems, so they obey the women and remain silent instead of defending the word and will of the Lord Jesus Christ like courageous men of God. In the letter to Timothy, what was also said to the Corinthian church is confirmed once again to a church leader (1 Timothy 2:8-15). It was so important to God that these regulations from the Old Testament on the subordination of women in marriage and in the church also apply to the New Testament church that he had these rules repeated several times.

3.2 PAUL AND TIMOTHY EXPLAIN THE TASKS OF WOMEN IN THE CHURCH:

We don't know how some Christians actually read the Bible that they deny so many biblical facts? It is repeatedly claimed that the subordination of women in church and marriage supposedly only applies to the Corinthian church because it is a special cultural group. But nowhere in the Bible does it say that this is supposed to apply only to a single church. On the contrary, let us look at what Paul wrote to Timothy, which does not refer to the church in Corinth (Greece), but to the entire spiritual church:

1Tim 2:8-15: "I desire then that in every place the men [yes: men] should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling; 9 likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire, 10 but with what is proper for women who profess godliness - with good works. 11 Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach [isn't that clear???] or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve; 14 and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor  [this was long before the Corinthian church existed]. 15 Yet she will be saved through childbearing - if they continue in faith and love and holiness, with self-control."

Comment: What is supposed to be unclear here? The context speaks of “in every place”. Eve did not come from the Corinthian church, but she was the first woman. Because sin entered the world through a woman, God decided that the woman must submit to the man in the church and in marriage. As can be clearly seen here, the regulation of the subordination of women goes back to the first fall of man. This still applies today. It is not the man's fault that Eve sinned and thus brought death and destruction to the earth. Out of love for Eve, Adam also allowed himself to be seduced by his wife, which has serious consequences for us all. That is why God did not give him another wife, but both sinned and brought suffering and death into the world. The law of submission was not invented by man, but is a personal ordinance of God that men and women must obey, which many women simply do not want to accept in their pride.

Gen 3:16: "To the woman he [God] said, “I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be contrary to your husband, but he shall rule over you.”

This order of God has never been abolished, but has been confirmed and even tightened several times in the New Testament. If someone says that they love Jesus and does not keep this rule, then we can see that they do not really love Jesus, but themselves. This is not a judgment, but we can see from the fruits that we have to be careful with such people, because if they change the word of God in this area and compromise with the spirit of the age, then they will do the same in other areas.

3.3 THE ENTIRE WORD OF GOD - THE BIBLE - WOMEN RECEIVE ONLY FROM MEN

Jesus had the entire New Testament, i.e. all 27 scrolls, written down by men (see Structure of the Bible and Book Order). Without the men, all women would know nothing about Jesus. All 4 Gospels were written by men (Mt, Mk, Lk, Jn), the Acts of the Apostles, all 21 letters (epistles) and also the last book of the Bible, Revelation, which was written around 70-80 AD. That is about 40 to 50 years after Jesus' resurrection. Every time a woman quotes the Bible, she is quoting the words of a man.

The entire Old Testament (43 books) was also only written by men, even the books named after women (Ruth and Esther), as they are part of a single scroll consisting of a total of 5 books that were read aloud on feast days (see feast scroll). In total, there are 49 scrolls with 66 or 70 individual books. A ratio of 49:0 (scrolls) and 70:0 (books) sounds unfair to many women. Why did God decree that no woman was allowed to write a book in the Bible? Is this also the “unjust discrimination” against women that some Christians speak of who demand a quota for women from Jesus? Don't they know that they are directly messing with God and fighting against him and his decision?

3.4 JESUS CHOSE ONLY MEN FOR THE LEADING MINISTRIES IN THE CHURCH

Jesus chose 12 male apostles and not a single woman. Quota for women? Even after Jesus' resurrection, nothing changed, and the replacement for Judas as apostle was not a woman, but once again a man (Matthias), who according to Catholic tradition is buried in Trier, Germany. In the first Christian church, there were only male bishops and deacons (see chapters 3.5 and 3.6).

For some women and weak men who give in to feminist theology, Jesus may now be one who is unjust or discriminatory towards women, but Jesus is certainly not that, rather man and woman are created differently and have special tasks in church and marriage that are intended for each gender and one task is no less valuable than the other. We can see from the fruits whether someone really loves Jesus or not:

John 14:23-24: "Jesus answered him, 'If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. 24 Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Father's who sent me.'"

3.5 THERE WERE ONLY MALE [not FEMALE] BISHOPS:

1Tim 3:1-7: "The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task. 2 Therefore an overseer [a man; episcope = overseer] must be above reproach, the husband of one wife [not: wife of one husband], sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, 3 not a drunkard, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. 4 He [not: she, the womanmust manage his own household well, with all dignity keeping his children submissive, 5 for if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God's church? 6 He [not: she, the woman] must not be a recent convert, or he may become puffed up with conceit and fall into the condemnation of the devil. 7 Moreover, he [not: she, the womanmust be well thought of by outsiders, so that he may not fall into disgrace, into a snare of the devil."

Note: God has always made a clear distinction between the sexes, not us. If the bishops have a wife, this means that they are not women. And Paul warned against the “snare of the devil” into which many women and weak men have fallen today by degrading the Word of God to a modern feminist interpretation.

3.6 THERE WERE ONLY MALE [not FEMALE] DIACONES:

1Tim 3:8-13: "Deacons [men, not women; diakonos = a servant, minister, manager who performs some service] likewise must be dignified, not double-tongued, not addicted to much wine, not greedy for dishonest gain. 9 They must hold the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience. 10 And let them also be tested first; then let them serve as deacons if they prove themselves blameless. 11 Their wives [not: the husbands of the female pastors] likewise must be dignified, not slanderers, but sober-minded, faithful in all things. 12 Let deacons each be the husband of one wife [not: the wife of one husband], managing their children and their own households well. 13 For those who serve well as deacons gain a good standing for themselves and also great confidence in the faith that is in Christ Jesus."

Note: If the deacons have a wife, this means that they are not women. Because how can a deacon have a wife and be a woman at the same time? Impossible. The Bible only speaks of male bishops and male deacons. We did not write the Bible.

3.7 IT IS ABOUT THE WHOLE SPIRITUAL CHURCH (not just Corinth):

1Tim 3:14-15, 4:1-2: "I hope to come to you soon, but I am writing these things to you so that, 15 if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth... 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, 2 through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared"

Note: This verse follows directly after the two verses mentioned above about the laws for bishops and deacons, there is no separation between them. It is about the whole household of God, the church of the living God, it is not just about one local church. And it is about all kinds of false teachings, including the modern teaching that women are allowed to be priests, which is also a sign of apostasy from the commandments of Jesus, because no one has yet been able to show us a woman priest in the OT and NT who would have been appointed by God. 3.8 SUBMISSION IN MARRIAGE - IS A SYMBOL OF THE RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST AND THE CHURCH

Every time the New Testament says that women should “submit” to men, it is always in connection with “Jesus Christ”, it is about him and his commandment, it is about a picture of “Christ and the church” (Eph 5:32):

  • Eph 5:21-22: "submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. 22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands. 25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, 26 that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27 so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. 28 In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, 30 because we are members of his body. 31 “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” 32 This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church. 33 However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband."
  • Col 3:18-25: "Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. 19 Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them. 20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. 21 Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged. 22 Bondservants, obey in everything those who are your earthly masters, not by way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord. 23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. 25 For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality."
  • 1Peter 3:1-7: "Likewise, wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives, 2 when they see your respectful and pure conduct. 3 Do not let your adorning be external - the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear - 4 but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious. 5 For this is how the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves, by submitting to their own husbands, 6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord. And you are her children, if you do good and do not fear anything that is frightening. 7 Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered."
  • Titus 2:3-5: "Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, 4 and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled."
  • Mt 23:12: "Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted."

Note: Can a woman teach? Of course, but not men, but younger women, so that they may love their husbands and submit to them (Titus 2:3-5). This is the teaching given by God for an older woman who walks with the Lord. Paul speaks here of “teaching good things”, i.e. submitting, and not of “teaching bad things”, i.e. exalting oneself above men in marriage and in the church. Biblically, there has never been equality between men and women in marriage and the church. That is a fact. No one has yet succeeded in showing us otherwise in the Bible and the distortions of the Bible are described in detail in chapter 6.

3.9 THE WORD 'PREACH' OCCURS 61 TIMES IN THE NT AND IS ALWAYS ASSOCIATED WITH MEN

The ancient Greek word kérussó (κηρύσσω) with the Strong's no. G1321, which is translated as preach, proclaim, occurs 61 times in the NT and is always associated with men, mostly with Jesus and the apostles. The Hebrew equivalent often associated with the term “proclaim” is qara (קָרָא, Strong's H7121), which means “to call, proclaim, preach or read out”.

Similarly, the word didaskó (διδάσκων; Strong's G1321), which occurs almost 100 times, is translated as to teach, instruct. The corresponding Hebrew word is H3384 (יָרָה, yarah; to teach, to instruct). Example:

Mt 4,23: "And he went throughout all Galilee, teaching (didaskōn, G1321; to teach, instruct) in their synagogues and proclaiming (kérussó, G2784; to proclaim, to preach, to herald) the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people."

Of course, women can teach men something from the Bible in private conversations and teach them at home. A man can benefit from a woman's wisdom, especially if she has been converted for a longer period of time and knows the Holy Scriptures better than he does. Nevertheless, the wife remains subordinate to her husband; greater knowledge does not cancel out the commandment of subordination. The situation is similar in the church when a woman preaches publicly to men. Here Jesus makes it clear in the NT that there has always been a clear order in the church service, which was confirmed by Paul in order to prevent liberal tendencies in some churches: Here the situation is clear: women are to remain silent in the public assembly. That is the way of the Bible.

"Cultural and Historical Background: In the Greco-Roman world, teaching was a respected profession, often associated with philosophers and religious leaders. Jewish culture also placed a high value on teaching, particularly in the context of the synagogue and the home, where the Law and traditions were passed down. Rabbis were esteemed as teachers of the Law, and Jesus was often addressed as "Rabbi" or "Teacher," indicating His role as a respected instructor of spiritual truths" (Biblehub).

We can see neither in the book of Acts, nor in the letters, nor in Revelation that women preached in the synagogue or in the first Christian church and were priests, but the four gospels, the book of Acts, all 21 letters (epistles) of the NT and Revelation were written by men who recorded in writing that women should remain silent in the church. We read of several rabbis (masters), but we do not find a single female rabbi (female master).

We did not write the NT and we must not bow to the priestesses out of false humility, but must rebuke them and lead them to the origins of biblical teaching. We will not achieve much in charismatic, Pentecostal and evangelical churches, because they are not guided by the Bible, but rather by church theology and they exclude those who are against women priests from the church/service. With pious-sounding words, they twist the statements of the Bible (see chapter 6 below).

3.10 ONLY WOMEN ARE TOLD TO BE SUBMISSIVE

When it comes to the relationship between husband and wife, both in marriage and in the church, only women are always told to submit (1Cor 14:33-37; Eph 5:22,24; Col 3:18; 1Pet 3:1). The corresponding Greek word is hupotassó (Strong No. 5293). It means: “to subject, to subordinate, to submit, to be under obedience.” These are words that do not fit today's society and spirit of the times and are seen as weakness or discrimination. There is not a single biblical example of a man submitting to a woman in church or in marriage. The man symbolically stands for Jesus, and therefore he should love his wife as Jesus loves the church, but the woman symbolically stands for the church (the bride of Christ). Just as the husband should obey Jesus' commandment and love his wife as Jesus loves the church, the wife must also accept the commandment of submission.

A woman cannot say: “I will only submit to you if you love me like Jesus”, because no man will ever achieve this goal. With this excuse, no woman would ever have to submit to her husband or the church, because she will always find something she doesn't like about her husband that Jesus would do better.

There are no conditions attached to a woman's submission, because even if a woman had more Bible knowledge, was more beautiful, more intelligent and richer, she is still not allowed to place herself above her husband, there are no excuses. The only exception is if the husband would demand something from his wife that is against the law of God.

To avoid these discussions, Jesus had his servant Paul write down the following regulation, in which Jesus emphasizes that the wife's submission to her husband is always also about her relationship with him (Jesus Christ) himself. In other words: Whenever the word “submission” is used, it refers not only to her relationship with her husband, but also automatically to the woman's relationship with her Lord Jesus Christ. From this, Jesus and the man can see whether the woman really loves Jesus or not:

Eph 5:22: "Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands. 25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her."

3.11 ALL MUST SUBMIT, SUBMISSION TO THE GOVERNMENT AND THE EMPLOYER

No one can escape submission, all Christians must submit, whether man or woman. Just as there is submission in the church, there is also submission in the world:

  • 1Peter 2:11-17: "Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul. 12 Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation. 13 Be subject for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, 14 or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good. 15 For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. 16 Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. 17 Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor."
  • 1Peter 2:18-25: "Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle but also to the unjust. 19 For this is a gracious thing, when, mindful of God, one endures sorrows while suffering unjustly. 20 For what credit is it if, when you sin and are beaten for it, you endure? But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God. 21 For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps. 22 He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth. 23 When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly. 24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. 25 For you were straying like sheep, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls."

3.12 WOMEN HAVE A PROBLEM WITH SUBMITTING AND SERVING, BUT JESUS DOES NOT

Death came into the world through a woman (Eve) (1Tim 2:14), but salvation through a man (Jesus Christ). And yet this SAVIOR and REDEEMER has no problem submitting, making himself small and serving us. Jesus was a man and he was even the Son of God. He left heaven to serve us humans. He is the LORD and had no problem submitting to his Father and even serving us (his creatures). But women have a problem submitting in church and marriage, even though Jesus set an example for them too?

  • Luke 2:49-52: Jesus submits to his parents: "And he said to them, “Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father's house?” 50 And they did not understand the saying that he spoke to them. 51 And he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was submissive [Strong-No. G5293 hupotassó means: "o subject, to subordinate, to submit, to be under obedience"; same word as in 1Cor 14,34, where the women are to submit to the men] to them. And his mother treasured up all these things in her heart. 52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man."
  • Mt 24:12 "Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted."
  • Phil 2:1-9: "So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, 2 complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. 3 Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. 4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. 5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped7 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant [gr: doulos, δοῦλος, Strong-No. G1401; servant, slave, bondservant], being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name"
Note: This is about the encouragement in Christ, it is about nothing out of self-interest and the clear description that Jesus made himself a servant, which in some Bibles is also translated as “slave”. The Lord Jesus made himself a slave. He humbled himself, and therefore God exalted him. In the same way, God will also exalt all women who accept God's order for church and marriage and also humble themselves and make themselves small like Jesus, their Lord. Jesus is the example of submission, not a man. Jesus makes himself a slave, but many women in the churches make themselves the master/mistress. That is the difference.
  • Jn 6:38: "For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me"
  • Mk 10:42-45: "And Jesus called them to him and said to them, “You know that those who are considered rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. 43 But it shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, 44 and whoever would be first among you must be slave of all. 45 For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
  • Jn 13:4-17: "rose from supper. He laid aside his outer garments, and taking a towel, tied it around his waist. 5 Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around him. 6 He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Lord, do you wash my feet?” 7 Jesus answered him, “What I am doing you do not understand now, but afterward you will understand.” 8 Peter said to him, “You shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you have no share with me.” 9 Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, not my feet only but also my hands and my head!” 10 Jesus said to him, “The one who has bathed does not need to wash, except for his feet,[a] but is completely clean. And you are clean, but not every one of you.” 11 For he knew who was to betray him; that was why he said, “Not all of you are clean.” 12 When he had washed their feet and put on his outer garments and resumed his place, he said to them, “Do you understand what I have done to you? 13 You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am. 14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. 15 For I have given you an example, that you also should do just as I have done to you. 16 Truly, truly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. 17 If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them."
  • Lk 12:35-37: Jesus will even serve us in the spiritual kingdom of heaven: “Stay dressed for action and keep your lamps burning, 36 and be like men who are waiting for their master to come home from the wedding feast, so that they may open the door to him at once when he comes and knocks. 37 Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes. Truly, I say to you, he will dress himself for service and have them recline at table, and he will come and serve them."

4. The reason for the subordination of women in the church and marriage

According to Genesis 3:16 (OT) and 1 Timothy 2:8-15 (NT), the commandment of submission goes back to the time of the first sin, i.e. to Eve. This has not changed to this day. It is not about a part of the Mosaic Law, but refers to the time before that, when there were only two people on earth. There was only one person in the history of the earth who did not sin and he was not a woman, but a man (Jesus Christ).

Another reason is that women are emotional and tend to make decisions based on their mood (feelings), whereas men tend to act objectively/rationally. This is why God has decreed that only men may exercise the priesthood. But the main reason is and remains: Because sin entered the world through a woman, all women must submit to men in the church and in marriage. This is the Lord's decision, not the Church's decision, and it is not a man's decision either.

If the charismatics say that this order only applied to the Old Testament or only to the generation of the first Christian church at that time, then they should explain why Paul repeatedly speaks of Eve and her first sin in this context (1Tim 2:12-15) and confirms the old order of the OT for all Christian churches? Where do we see an abolition of this rule in the NT?

If there are poorly trained men in a church, then the women can help a man to become spiritually strong and lead the church. But they are not allowed to lead the church and place themselves above the men. If they do, then they are not churches in which the followers of Jesus can stay longer, because if they compromise on this point, then they also compromise on other biblical issues.

A woman can be a thousand times better and more righteous/holy before God than a man, but she must not place herself above the man, even if he is unconverted, because the commandment of submission is a decision made by God and goes back to Adam and Eve. Once again, it is not a decision made by the church or a man, and we now have the choice whether or not to follow it.

A Christian man who does not follow this example of Jesus is either not converted or is still too arrogant (earthly-minded), because although the man is the head of the wife and the family and can make the final decision (e.g. about where to live), he must still serve his wife and do good to her. A macho man has no place in the kingdom of God, because if the Lord Jesus makes Himself small, why shouldn't a man make himself small and place himself above the commandments of Jesus instead?

5. The position of women in the kingdom of God can be above men

The commandment to submit to men does not mean that women have a lower rank or are worth less in the kingdom of God. No, on the contrary, many women will stand far above men in the kingdom of God because they have submitted themselves to Jesus and the man. Rank in the kingdom of God is only determined by love and humility/service, not by origin or gender:

Mt 20:26-28: "It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever would be first among you must be your slave,[d] 28 even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

So if a man does not want his wife to be above him for all eternity, then he must love her with all his heart (as Jesus loved the church) and serve her (as Jesus served the church) so that she is well in all things, spiritually and physically. A Christian wife is a happy woman because she knows that her husband is different, because although he is her “master” and her “head”, he does not take advantage of his position, but serves her and protects her, even if he would have to die for her. A woman needs this security in life so that she does not fall into insecurity and depression, which unfortunately many Christian women fall into today because their husbands fail in the Word of God and lack agape love (selfless divine love).

A man must also submit to the Lord and serve his wife!

The requirements for a woman are not nearly as high as for a man, because a woman is to love her husband and submit to him, but what did Jesus command the man to do? He is to love his wife “as Jesus loves the church” (Eph 5:25-33). So if some women portray Paul as an alleged woman-hater, is he then also a man-hater because the demands on the man are even higher?

There is nothing more difficult and demanding in the world than to follow the love of Jesus, because Jesus was full of love all his life, the only one without sin and He (the LORD Jesus Christ) made Himself small and gladly served His spiritual wife (the Church) and He will even serve her in the heavenly kingdom of God (Luke 12:35-37). This is also written in the Bible, which many men overlook.

Jesus is the role model for every man. So a Christian woman need not be afraid to marry a man in the Lord, because she knows that he will not take advantage of her or treat her selfishly, but will do everything to ensure that she is well and that she can use the talents (which God has given her) for her marriage, family, church and society.

A man who does not submit to the Lord Jesus on this point and treats his wife badly has denied the faith and need not expect to get a high position in the kingdom of God if he receives eternal life at all.

Happy women despite subordination

The commandments of Jesus are not there to make marriage more difficult and to harm the woman, but to enable or guarantee a fulfilled life for two. That is why there are biblical instructions not only for the woman, but also for the man, to whom God makes special demands. Women can not only be happy in Christian marriage, but also in the church, because they have given life to all men in pain at birth so that we men can preach and talk about God at all. Without women, many churches would be spiritually and physically finished. The issue of the place of women in marriage and in the church has already divided many churches because people are going beyond the word of Jesus. Paul said this to the Corinthians and all Christian churches worldwide:

1Cor 4:6: "...that you may learn by us not to go beyond what is written..."

Nevertheless, many Christians go beyond the Word of God and delete some uncomfortable verses from the Bible just so they can appoint women as priests. However, the common characteristic of biblical holy women was that they willingly submitted and served in humility, but not that they wanted to get into positions that God/Jesus never intended for them. A woman can be much more intelligent than a man (especially young pastors often make mistakes), but she must not put herself above the man and take the word away from him, but she can help him to grow spiritually. A wise woman can build up weak pastors and help them to become good and strong leaders and lead the church properly instead of putting herself above them.

If a woman does not want to submit to the Lord Jesus, then she does not need to demand that her husband should love her like Jesus. Even if she is married to an unconverted man, she can lead him to the Lord through her loving and gentle way of life (1Petr 3:1-6). But a quarrelsome wife will make things even worse. A woman should therefore always know: What God asks of me is not nearly as demanding and responsible as what He asks of a man.

Church leadership is often a difficult task, especially in the end times, and God wanted to protect women from this so that they could concentrate on their families unencumbered. The commandment of submission in the church is a kind of self-protection for the woman, because it spares her stress. Some women have neglected their children, husbands and families because of the church and are therefore partly to blame for the resulting problems and even divorces. Here too, what applies to widows in 1 Timothy 5 applies even more so to wives:

1Tim 5:5-8: "She who is truly a widow, left all alone, has set her hope on God and continues in supplications and prayers night and day, 6 but she who is self-indulgent is dead even while she lives. 7 Command these things as well, so that they may be without reproach. 8 But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever."

Jesus first said that women should submit and then that men should love women, not the other way around. A woman who does not submit to the Lord Jesus and wants to exalt herself over him because she sees things differently and feels unfairly treated and discriminated against need not expect the Lord to serve her in the kingdom of God, because before she can get there she must first learn humility. That is why many women in the churches are sick, so that they first learn humility, which is essential for entering the kingdom of heaven.

God is not unjust and he does not discriminate against women. When women repeatedly complain that they would also like to be priests, they are showing that they want to occupy an elevated position in the church, but at the same time do not realize that they are lowering or degrading their position in the eternal kingdom of God. Conversely, a man also demeans his eternal position in the kingdom of God if he is unloving, treats his wife like a macho man and is not prepared to reject Jesus' command to “love and serve his wife”.

6. The seductive arguments of women priests/pastors, quotes:

Let's take a look at what arguments women have who want to place themselves above their husbands in the church and in marriage and preach as priests/pastors. It is immediately obvious that they cannot produce a single biblical passage in the OT and NT that authorizes them to take leadership positions in the church and place themselves above men.

Instead, they [1.] ignore clear Bible verses or [2.] reinterpret them or [3.] invalidate them or [4.] take verses out of context or [5.] spread their own ideas (which they claim to get from the Holy Spirit) that contradict the Bible. Often the women and men who disagree with these modern teachings are labeled unloving, judgmental, or even supposedly not led by the Holy Spirit, and some are even told to leave the church. After all, it would only cause unrest if some Christians did not accept a woman priest and said so openly.

Jesus inspired Paul, Peter and James to write what was important for the churches so that they would not follow the spirit of the age. The Bible is EXTREMELY clear about the position of women in marriage and the church and has NO contradictions. Where are biblical passages that supposedly abolish this subordination of women in church and marriage?

According to Ephesians 5:24, “wives also should submit to their husbands in all things”. If a husband would forbid his wife to be a priestess in the church, she cannot justify this with Acts 5:29 (“one must obey God rather than men”), because if she really obeyed God, she would accept His word. It is God (not man) who forbids women in the Bible to place themselves above men in church and marriage. So obeying God means submitting as Jesus showed the woman (1Cor 14:33-37; 1Tim 2:8-15; 1Tim 3:1-13; Eph 5:21-33; Col 3:18-25-4:1; 1Pet 3:1-7), but not putting herself above God and men through supposed new revelations of the Holy Spirit or emotions. Rebellion against the Bible is not shown by the Spirit of God, but by another spirit. The following are some of the arguments put forward by self-proclaimed priestesses. This is reminiscent of the words of the serpent in Genesis 3, whose aim is to question the clear words of the Lord and sow doubt:

“Yes, should God have said that you should submit to men in church and marriage?"

6.1 Some say: “God is not unjust, He treats women and men equally and there are equal rights”, we also hear: “Jesus would not discriminate against women” or even: “Jesus is not a hypocrite, He makes no distinction between men and women”.

Comment: These statements alone are terrible, because with these words women and weak men condemn their God as an unjust being when he commands submission in the church and in marriage. The women place themselves in a victim role. According to this, Jesus would be someone who discriminates against women or even a hypocrite if he differentiates between men and women in their positions in church and marriage. That alone is difficult to hear and write. It is unbelievable how some Christians, in their arrogance, devalue God and Jesus and place themselves above their words.

The uncomfortable fact is: God has always made a distinction between the sexes, as can be seen from the above Bible quotes (chapters 2 and 3). Although men and women are equal when it comes to receiving the Holy Spirit (both receive the same Spirit) and inheriting the kingdom of heaven, there is nevertheless a clear order from God as to how He envisages the distribution of tasks in the church and in marriage. Women who see it differently and are rebellious cannot expect high positions in the kingdom of God, because the ranking in the kingdom of heaven is not awarded according to gender, but only according to how humble a person has been, how they have followed the commandments of Jesus and how much love they have shown for others. These are the criteria by which Jesus judges a Christian and not by gender.

Why were there 12 apostles and not a single female apostle? Where is Jesus' quota for women? Is this supposed to be discrimination on Jesus' part? Even when Judas ceased to be an apostle, Jesus again appointed a man (Matthias), not a woman.

Once again: many women (e.g. the humble Sarah and Mary) will be far above many men in their position in the heavenly kingdom. Gender plays no role here, because we will be neither man nor woman in the kingdom of heaven. But the women who break Jesus' command will be in for a nasty surprise, as will the men who support or even recruit women priests to eclipse the Lord's words and seduce the Church.

God and Jesus are not unjust, nor are they hypocrites, the whole world should know that, but there has always been a divine order for church and marriage. Instead, those Christians who want to go their own way are unjust and hypocrites.

If a woman feels that it is discrimination to subordinate herself in church and marriage, then she has no place in the Church of God, because Jesus himself made himself small in order to serve people. He did not have the arrogant attitude of many women. Jesus was able to subordinate himself and it was no discrimination for him, because love (agape) likes to make itself small and serve others. Without service and without submission, there is eternal life:

  • Phil 3:3-9: "Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. 4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. 5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name"
  • Mt 23:11-12: "The greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted."
  • Eph 5:21-25: "submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.  22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands. 25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her..."

6.2 Frequently quoted by some Christians: “Women were the first to whom Jesus appeared, so Jesus put women on an equal level with men.”

Comment: Wrong. Why did Jesus appear to the women first? The answer: Because the men were too cowardly and sat in their houses. They could have accompanied the women, but they didn't want to. On the other hand, the women had prepared ointments to anoint Jesus. They did not believe in the resurrection of Jesus either, otherwise they would have known that the ointments were completely unnecessary. The women knew exactly that after “three days and three nights” and “early on the morning of the first Sabbath” (Mark 16:9) was the right time to open the tomb. The fact that Jesus appeared to the women first is therefore due to the fact that the men were not there. But the entire book of Acts, 1 Corinthians 14:33-37 and 1 Timothy 2:8-15 were written decades after Jesus' resurrection to make it clear that the subordination of women in church and marriage was never abolished. The appearance of the Lord to women did not change this. It was precisely in order to avoid these unnecessary discussions among Christians from the outset that the Lord Jesus Christ, decades after his resurrection, instructed Paul and Peter to write down for all generations that the commandment of the subordination of women in church and marriage continues to apply to the Christian churches.

6.3 Gal 3,28: “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”

Comment: This Bible passage, taken out of context, is not about men and women having the same position in the church and in marriage, but about all having the same spirit and the same faith and thus receiving the same inheritance. Anyone who takes this passage out of context clearly reveals that their motivation is to deceive the children of God, because the whole passage reads:

Gal 5:25-29: “But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian, 26 for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave[g] nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise.“

Galatians 3:28 is often quoted by charismatics so that women can lead and preach in churches. But they twist this verse, because the context is about us becoming children of God and having the Spirit of God, and it doesn't matter where a person comes from (Hebrew or Gentile) or whether they are a man or a woman. Everyone receives the same Spirit and has the same promised spiritual inheritance. Nevertheless, the woman must submit to her husband in marriage and also in the church, even though she may be spiritually more mature and stronger than the newly converted men, if there are no older followers of Christ. The subordination of women was never abolished, but even intensified in the NT (1 Cor 14:33-37; 1 Tim 2:8-15; 1 Tim 3:1-7; 1 Tim 3:8-13; Eph 5:21-33: Col 3:18-25-4:1; 1 Peter 3:1-7; Titus 2:3-5).

6.4  Quote: “The Bible says: there is no respect of persons, women and men are equal in the church.”

Comment: Wrong, because in Colossians 3:25, where this verse is found, it is explicitly emphasized that women should submit to men. In the same way, slaves are to submit to their masters. So there is no equality in Colossians 3. Submission is always associated with the Lord. So if a woman submits to her husband, this is an outward sign that she is also submitting to the Lord Jesus Christ. If a woman does not submit to her husband, then she shows that she is not submitting to the Lord either. And the sentence “There is no respect of persons” (Col 3:25) does not refer to the relationship between the woman and the church and marriage, but in the previous verses the relationship between the slaves and their masters is described and this is about doing wrong. So if a slave serves his master, it is as if he were serving the Lord Jesus Christ. Regardless of whether someone is a slave or a master, the one who does wrong will receive God's punishment, and it is precisely in this context that there is “no respect of persons”. This verse is not about the service of women in the church at all, and anyone who takes this Bible passage out of context just to introduce women into the church as priests is doing wrong and will receive the appropriate punishment from the Lord described in Colossians 3. In Col 3 it is first commanded that women should submit to men here on earth (Col 3:18), but there is no respect of persons when it comes to the inheritance in the kingdom of God (Col 3:25). So if someone quotes Col 3:25, they should also quote the text before it, then all discussions will come to an end:

Kol 3:18-25 (KJV): "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. 19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. 20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. 21 Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged. 22 Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God; 23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; 24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. 25 But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons."
Kol 3:18-25 (ESV): "Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord19 Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them.

The respect of the person has nothing at all to do with subordination, which was never abolished, but rather intensified in the NT (1Cor 14:33-37; 1Tim 2:8-15; 1Tim 3:1-7; 1Tim 3:8-13; Eph 5:21-33: Col 3:18-25-4:1; 1Pet 3:1-7; Titus 2:3-5).

6.5 Quote: “God has also given women the Holy Spirit, which is why they can also preach.”

Comment: Wrong, because of course God has also given women the Holy Spirit. No man of God will ever deny this, but nevertheless we must not be guided by our own opinions and desires, but must look at what God has to say in the Bible on this subject. The whole Bible is clear on this point (1Cor 14:33-37; 1Tim 2:8-15; 1Tim 3:1-7; 1Tim 3:8-13; Eph 5:21-33: Col 3:18-25-4:1; 1Peter 3:1-7; Titus 2:3-5). It is exactly the opposite: precisely because women have also received the Holy Spirit, they gladly submit to Him in the church and in marriage, not because men are faultless, but because they love Jesus above all else and want to follow Him in all areas of life. Love for Jesus is not shown in hours of worship with “Praise the Lord”, but in quiet submission to the spiritual law of the Lord Jesus Christ. This is how you can recognize the holy women who truly love Jesus. God can also give the Holy Spirit to the boss of a company, but that does not mean that the workers can now also be bosses or are equal to him, but the subordination always remains even then.

6.6 Quote: “Women may preach if they do not speak aloud”, David Stern's translation.

According to the faulty translation of the David Stern "Complete Jewish Bible" (CJB) 1998, some false teachings have arisen: Some pastors use a version of David Stern's Bible that we are not familiar with, from which they deduce that women are allowed to speak in church, but not loudly. This can only be taken as a joke, because the word “loud” is completely missing in the basic Greek texts, see the screenshots below from Biblehub and Scripture4All. The alleged version by David Stern reads:

1Cor 14:34-35: „let the wives be silent during the meeting; they are not allowed to speak loudly. Let them be in subjection, as it is said in the Torah; 35 If they want to know something, let them ask their husbands at home; because it is indecent for a woman to talk loudly during a meeting.“

The following is the official version that we know from David Stern (Complete Jewish Bible; CJB, 1998). Here it is not “loud”, but “out”, because “to speak out” means “to express oneself”:

1Cor 14:34-35 (CJB): „let the wives remain silent when the congregation meets; they are certainly not permitted to speak out. Rather, let them remain subordinate, as also the Torah says; 35 and if there is something they want to know, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for a woman to speak out in a congregational meeting.

1Cor 14:23 Biblehub Interlinear Translation
1Cor 14:23 ISA3 Scripture4All Interlinear Translation
1Cor 14:23 ISA3 Scripture4All Interlinear Translation

As can be clearly seen, this is a forgery of the word of God, where a word “loud” is added so that the women in the congregation can speak if they do not speak too loudly. This forgery will one day come up before the judgment seat. David Stern's translation has several major errors, including the mention of the word “Sunday” in Mark 16:9. This is catastrophic.

6.7 Quote: “Even in the Old Testament, God placed some women above men (such as Miriam and Deborah) and women have always been important to God.”

Comment: Wrong, because of course women are important to God because God created them and made them especially beautiful. But Miriam led a women's group and Deborah was a prophetess and judge, but not a priestess. That is a big difference. God never placed women above men in the church. Neither at the Ark of the Covenant nor in the Jerusalem Temple nor in the synagogue did women ever play a role as priests in connection with the sacrifices, the setting of feast days (see calendar) or the ceremonies. Only male priests served in the Jerusalem Temple, and on Yom Kippur no woman was allowed to have direct contact with God, as she would die in the unauthorized appearance before the Lord, as would any male priest who entered the Holy of Holies at the wrong time or who was not purified. For this reason, a rope was wrapped around the belly of the male priests so that they could simply be pulled out in the event of death. No woman was allowed to enter the Holy of Holies and come before the Lord on Yom Kippur, and if she had dared to do so, God would have punished her with death. Only men were allowed to appear before God on Yom Kippur. God has always made a distinction between the roles of the sexes.

6.8 Quote: “The word of God also comes from women, which is why women can also be priests and preach before men and quote the Bible.”

Comment: Wrong, because of course the Word of God can also come from a woman and of course they can also quote the Bible, but what is a humiliating fact for many women is that the entire Word of God was only written by men (all 70 books), there is no quota for women, it is 0%. There is not a single biblical book that was written by women and passed on to men. Even the books of Ruth and Esther, which were named after women, were written by men, because they were part of the feast scroll, a single scroll consisting of five books, which was read out on the respective feast days (see Structure of the Bible). In concrete terms, this means that the women received the entire Word of God (100%) from the men and that they would not know anything about Jesus without the men. That is why women must be grateful that God/Jesus gave the Word of God to men, because otherwise they would be without a Bible and without a guide for life. The fact is and remains: Whenever a woman quotes the Bible, she is quoting the words given to her by a man.

We can often see in the NT that Jesus or Paul preached openly in the synagogue in front of everyone, but there is not a single example of a woman doing the same. There were rabbis (masters), but not a single female rabbi (master). Anyone who now claims that this only applied to that time, but that the Holy Spirit has supposedly abolished this regulation for our time, can already prepare their argument when they stand before the judgment seat of Jesus Christ. For we can read nothing of an abolition in the New Testament, but even of a  strengthening both with regard to the subordination of women in marriage and in the church. Anyone who disagrees must show us this from the Bible. We will never accept the nonsense of some women pastors and weak male pastors that the Holy Spirit is now supposedly changing everything, just as the rebellious women and men wish. Instead, we will not go beyond what is written and will defend the words of the Lord against the modern spirit of the age (1 Cor 4:6).

6.9 Quote: “The requirements in the New Testament with regard to submission only apply to the culture of the early church, but they are no longer valid for our time.”

Comment: Wrong, because who gives you the right to determine what is valid today and what is not? Precisely because we live in a cold, loveless, selfish and godless society, it is important to be a light and show that God does not agree with the conditions in the world, but has clear rules for men and women. Those who follow these rules will be blessed. There is no new gospel that makes women into female priests and abolishes the old order of Jesus. The Bible warns several times against following the spirit of the age, but there are also clear words that counteract this:

  • Heb 13:8: "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."
  • Gal 1:6-9: "I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel - 7 not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed."
  • 1Cor 4:6 "... for your benefit, brothers,[a] that you may learn by us not to go beyond what is written..."
  • God has never permitted the abolition of submission; on the contrary, He expressly affirms it several times in the New Testament so that Christians are not deceived and do not turn away from this ancient commandment of God, but are a light to the Gentiles and live a different way of submission as an example to the world: 1Cor 14:33-37; 1Tim 2:8-15; 1Tim 3:1-7; 1Tim 3:8-13; Eph 5:21-33: Col 3:18-25-4:1; 1Peter 3:1-7; Titus 2:3-5.

6.10 Quote: “‘Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.’ (2 Cor 3:17) - so women are also free to be priests and preachers.”

Comment: Wrong. This quote is completely out of place in our context, because a Christian woman is a free woman in marriage and church and not a slave, it is about freedom and neither the church nor marriage is a prison. A Christian man even serves his wife, although he is her master, because God (not the man) has ordained it that way, because Jesus made himself small and served His spiritual bride (the church). This has nothing to do with taking away freedom and enslavement. It is similar in the church.

Many pastors bring the wrong Bible passages (2Cor 3:17) that have nothing to do with the question . What they don't realize is that the spiritual bride of Christ (the church) is also a free woman, but she still has to submit to the Lord in everything. Or does she not? Without submission there is no eternal life. This is neither discrimination nor a deprivation of freedom, as some pastors repeatedly and embarrassingly argue.

And so marriage and the church are also a symbol of the relationship between the spiritual church and its Lord Jesus Christ. There is no SIMILARITY, but there is a Lord and we gladly submit to Him and He lives with us and even serves us, even in the kingdom of God, as several Bible passages show, for example, where He will dress up and serve us at table (see chapter 3.12 above). This is precisely what many cannot understand: submission is something good and holy, but for the people of the world it is something bad and discriminatory.

Satan wants to put himself on the same level as God/Jesus, just as many women also want to put themselves on a level with men that is not intended for them by God and Jesus. Many women in this day and age want to be on the same level in marriage and church as men, but not only that, many even go beyond equality and even elevate themselves above their husbands with pious excuses.

We are free, and as free creatures we will not only submit to the Lord Jesus Christ in the spiritual kingdom of God, but also to one another. Those who think they do not want to submit need not be surprised if Jesus excludes them from the kingdom of heaven so that we do not have the same conditions in eternity as we do here on earth.

6.11 Quote: “Women can receive messages from the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit has shown that women can also be pastors and preach”

Comment: Wrong. Of course, women can also receive messages from the Holy Spirit and even be prophetesses (see chapter 6.14) and receive dreams from God. This was already the case at the time of the Old Testament, when there was not a single woman priest in the Church. In the future, too, not only men and women may prophesy, but also old men and young men (children); yet the Bible does not say that the law of subordination in the church and marriage has been abolished and that women and children should now be priests in the church. No Christian man has anything against women prophesying (if it comes from the Lord), because it does not change their position in the church:

Joel 2:28-29: “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions. 29 Even on the male and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit.“

Many women today simply claim that they have received something from the Lord that cannot be from the Lord at all. How can we verify this? The answer: If it contradicts the Bible, then it is obvious that these messages come from demons, but not from the Spirit of God.

What does the Holy Spirit show Christian women? The Holy Spirit shows women that they should be submissive in church and in marriage and not exalt themselves over men. The Holy Spirit will never show women anything that contradicts the Bible, but reminds them of what is recorded in the Holy Scriptures.

The Spirit of God does not abolish the word of the Bible and does not replace it with the spirit of the age, but on the contrary, he reminds us of the old words and the original order that can be found in the Bible. This is the difference between those who follow Jesus in everything and those who follow the spirit of the age and want something different in the Bible, because the spirit of the age wants something different and new, but not what has been in the Bible for a long time. Jesus has not changed and the Spirit does not lead us in the end times to new teachings that are foreign to the Bible.

Where are the biblical passages that show that the subordination of women in church and marriage was supposedly abolished? That is pure wishful thinking. The letters of the NT were written when Jesus had already been resurrected for decades. The letters of Paul, Peter and James do not contradict the words of Jesus, but confirm them in order to prevent the spirit of the times and laodicean attitudes in the churches. It was Jesus who inspired Paul and Peter to write down these clear rules for our time so that we do not have these discussions and arguments.

If women will not listen to the men of God and their 27 NT scrolls (there is no women's quota), they will not learn about Jesus at all.

The Holy Spirit confirms the word of the Bible, but the spirit of Satan wants to reinterpret the Bible and replace it with new rules by twisting what the Bible says. This is the difference between those who follow the Lord IN EVERYTHING and those who run after the spirit of the age and wish for other texts in the Bible.

The words of many self-proclaimed female pastors are full of seductions that correspond to the spirit of the times, where the Holy Spirit supposedly abolishes the Bible and suddenly sets up completely new rules and wants to replace the clear statements of the Bible. In doing so, they are spreading a different gospel in relation to women that does not recognize the Holy Scriptures. It is a rebellion against God with pious quotes that refer to something completely different and are taken completely out of context. Satan also quoted the Bible when he spoke to Jesus.

Even if a woman has been called by God and knows the Bible much better, she does not have the right to place herself above her husband, nor does she have the right to accept positions in the church that are not hers. The Bible is EXTREMELY clear on this point and women like Sarah, Mary or Noemi are not usually found in many of today's lukewarm churches. This has nothing at all to do with Phariseeism and legalism, as we are repeatedly accused of, but on the contrary, it is about humility and following Jesus, where everyone does what they want because the charismatic spirit shows all kinds of things, except faithfulness to the Holy Scriptures.

The day of the rapture will make the difference clear to everyone and the humble women who were different and who accepted and followed God's and Jesus' order in marriage and church (like Sarah, Mary...) will stand far above many men for all eternity and that is the most important thing. God is not unjust and then there will be many surprises.

The Holy Spirit does not contradict Himself, and God does not call a woman to rule over (or place herself above) her husband, nor does He call a woman to preach to override the clear statements of the Bible. Some women stand in the pulpit in sexy clothes and want to show off what the Holy Spirit is supposedly showing them. The children of God do not change the words of Jesus, for our Lord said:

  • Jn 14:23-26: "Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. 24 Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Father's who sent me. 25 “These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you." [The Holy Spirit will not abolish or change, but will remind us of the original order].
  • Hebr 13:8-9: "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. 9 Do not be led away by diverse and strange teachings..."
  • 1Cor 4:6: "I have applied all these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, brothers, that you may learn by us not to go beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up in favor of one against another."
  • Gal 1:8-9: "But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed."
  • Rev 22:18-20: "I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book. 20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!"
  • Eph 5:10-11: "try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. 11 Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them."

6.12 Quote: “God has sanctified women for the priesthood, for the Bible says: ‘... ‘What God has made clean, do not call common’’ (Acts 11:9)”.

Comment: Wrong. This is also a terrible distortion of the Word of God, because all women and men are sanctified when they have accepted the sacrifice of Jesus and received the Holy Spirit, regardless of what nation they come from or what gender they are. The quote “what God has made clean, do not call common” (ESV) or "what God hath cleansed, that call not thou common (KJV, Acts 11:9) refers to the acceptance of Gentile Christians into the church, but it is not about women at all. The previous verse says, “But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth” and we do not eat our wives. It is about something completely different than women.

Nor do we declare any woman to be unclean, complete nonsense, because the holy women are all already CLEAN and SANCTIFIED, as described in the text above. Many women were already cleansed before we men were called and converted.

Just as Jesus was not unclean when He voluntarily humbled himself and did the will of the Father, so a woman is not unclean when she follows the instructions of the Bible and voluntarily submits to the church and marriage. Satan quotes the Bible, but in the wrong context. Acts 11:9 is about the Gentiles being received into the spiritual church (paraphrased as receiving food) because they have also received the Holy Spirit, not just the Jewish Christians. This is not at all about the position of women in church and marriage. Nor is it about the assumption that all women used to be unclean for God and that God has now declared women in the New Covenant to be clean. No. It is really embarrassing how some deceivers argue. It was precisely to avoid these discussions that Paul made it clear in 1 Corinthians 14:33-37 and 1 Timothy 2:8-15 that the subordination of women continues to exist. A humble woman follows Jesus and does not change His words by taking them out of context in order to place herself as a priestess above men in church and marriage.

6.13 Quote: “1 Peter 2:9 says that women are also a ‘royal priesthood’ and can therefore also be priests in the Church.”

Comment: Wrong. It does not say that women can be priests in the church, but this verse is also taken out of context. Not all men and women are now priests in the church, complete nonsense, but it is about the spiritual church and the inheritance in the kingdom of God. The whole verse reads:

1Peter 2:9: "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy."

It is about all those who have the Spirit of God in the church (including children), because only those who have the Spirit of God belong to his spiritual church or spiritual family. This is precisely documented in the Bible:

Rom 8:14: "For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons[f] of God."

Rom 8:9: "You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him."

It is as simple as that. The Church of God is not a building or an organization, but a spiritual family to which only those to whom God has given the Holy Spirit belong. A person's origin and gender are completely unimportant. In 1 Peter 2:9 it is not about the question of women at all, but about the Spirit of God, because all converted men and women are already spiritual kings and priests, because the throne and the crown are already ready for us, but we will only take up the inheritance after the Rapture or after our death and not before.

What many do not like: The same Peter who wrote 1 Peter 2:9 also emphasized that while we are still alive on this earth, there is a subordination (1 Peter 3:1-7), which was also confirmed by Paul: 1 Cor 14:33-37; 1 Tim 2:8-15; 1 Tim 3:1-7; 1 Tim 3:8-13; Eph 5:21-33: Col 3:18-25-4:1; Titus 2:3-5.

This applies not only to the submission of women to their husbands, but also to the submission of men to the leadership of the church. Without submission there is no eternal life, because Jesus himself made himself small and washed his disciples' feet and will also serve us in the kingdom of God. Anyone who refuses to submit has no place in a Christian church, for he is earthly minded and not truly converted, for the saints gladly submit and they gladly serve to make others happier.

Peter did not contradict Paul, but wrote that we should listen to him and he warns against those who want to twist Paul's words:

2Peter 3;15-16: "...just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, 16 as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures."

6.14 Quote: “God has made women prophets and evangelists, so they can also be pastors and teach.”

Comment: Wrong. A pastor who makes this claim shows that he knows very little about the Bible. We prove this with the following question: At the time of the Old Testament, there were several prophetesses of God such as Miriam (Exodus 15:20) and Deborah (Judges 4). Which woman was authorized to function as a priestess in the area of the Ark of the Covenant or later in the Jerusalem Temple and to place herself above the men? Answer: none. Not a single one. Women were prophetesses who could speak the word of the Lord, but they were never priests, had no function at the Ark of the Covenant or in the service of the Jerusalem Temple, but submitted to God's decision and left this office to the men. It was the same in the NT:

Acts 21:8-11 (ESV): "On the next day we departed and came to Caesarea, and we entered the house of Philip the evangelist [Strong Nr. G2099, εὐαγγελιστής, euaggelistés, evangelist], who was one of the seven, and stayed with him. 9 He had four unmarried daughters [KJV: virgins], who prophesied [Strong Nr. G4395, προφητεύω, prophéteuó, prophesize]. 10 While we were staying for many days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. 11 And coming to us, he took Paul's belt and bound his own feet and hands and said, “Thus says the Holy Spirit, ‘This is how the Jews at Jerusalem will bind the man who owns this belt and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles."

To prophesy means: to speak on divine inspiration, to predict. Not only women and men can do this, but also children (Joel 2:28-32; Acts 2:17-19) and even a donkey could speak and proclaim God's words (Numbers 22:22-24). And Jesus said that if the disciples “were silent, the very stones would cry out.” (Luke 19:40). Nevertheless, it does not mean that women, children, animals (donkeys) or stones should lead the church just because they have a prophetic message. Men, women, children and animals can prophesy and speak God's words, but there is nevertheless a clear order for the divine service in the OT and NT. Especially in the end times, God will pour out the Spirit on all without abolishing his order for church and marriage. It is about encouragement, not abolition:

Joel 2:28-29: ”And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,  your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions. 29 Even on the male and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit..”

First of all, it is nice to read that the evangelist Philip's daughters were virgins and different, because in many churches the Spirit of God cannot work much in women because they have a way of life that is hardly different from the world. Acts 21:8-11 is a glorious example of an intact holy family. We wish there were many more women to whom God could give something prophetically and thus strengthen the men. However, this does not mean that God appoints them as preachers and priests in the church who preach entire sermons in public in front of the men. It was the same in the Old Testament: some women received prophecies from God, but never presumed to take on the office of priestess, but kept to the order given by God and accepted that only men were reserved for this role.

The corresponding Hebrew word is naba (Strong No. H5012 נָבָא]: To prophesy, to speak or sing by inspiration.

The Greek word prophéteuó (Strong no. G4395) occurs 28 times in the NT: Mt 7:22; 11:13; 15:7; 26:68; Mk 7:6; 14:65; Lk 1:67; 22:64; Jn 11:51; Acts 2:17, 18; 19:6; 21:9; 1 Cor 11:4; 11:5; 13:9; 14:1, 3, 4, 5(2x); 14:24, 31, 39; 1 Pet 1:10.

The OT and NT deal almost exclusively with prophecies that came from men. Once again, there is no quota for women. The only exception are the 4 daughters of the evangelist Philip in Acts 21:9. If someone prophesies, it must first be checked whether this is from the Lord at all or whether someone is acting out or even led by another spirit. The shock for many men and women now comes in Mt 7:22-23, because even the ability to prophesy does not save from death:

  • Mt 7:22-23: “On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy [G4395 prophéteuó] in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.”
  • Mt 11:13: “For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied [G4395 prophéteuó] until John.”
  • Mt 26:68: “saying, “Prophesy [G4395 prophéteuó] to us, you Christ! Who is it that struck you?”
  • Lk 1:67-68: “And his father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied [G4395 prophéteuó], saying. 68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for he has visited and redeemed his people.”
  • Jn 11:51: “He did not say this of his own accord, but being high priest that year he prophesied [G4395 prophéteuó] that Jesus would die for the nation,...”
  • Acts 2:17-19: “And in the last days it shall be, God declares [Joel 2:28-32], that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy [G4395 prophéteuó], and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; 18 even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy [G4395 prophéteuó]. 19 And I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke,”
  • Acts 19:5-7: “On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they began speaking in tongues and prophesying [G4395 prophéteuó]. 7 There were about twelve men in all.”
  • 1Cor 11:2-10: “Now I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions even as I delivered them to you. 3 But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a wife is her husband, and the head of Christ is God. 4 Every man who prays or prophesies [G4395 prophéteuó] with his head covered dishonors his head, 5 but every wife who prays or prophesies [G4395 prophéteuó] with her head uncovered dishonors her head, since it is the same as if her head were shaven. 6 For if a wife will not cover her head, then she should cut her hair short. But since it is disgraceful for a wife to cut off her hair or shave her head, let her cover her head. 7 For a man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God, but woman is the glory of man. 8 For man was not made from woman, but woman from man. 9 Neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. 10 That is why a wife ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels.”
Note: Here, too, God makes a distinction between the sexes. Man and woman are equal before God in terms of eternity, but they are not equal in terms of their position as long as they live on earth.
  • 1Cor 13:8-10: “Love never ends. As for prophecies [G4394 prophēteiai], they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy [G4395 prophéteuó] in part, 10 but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away.”
  • 1Cor 14:1-5; 39: “Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy [G4395 prophéteuó]. 2 For one who speaks in a tongue speaks not to men but to God; for no one understands him, but he utters mysteries in the Spirit. 3 On the other hand, the one who prophesies [G4395 prophéteuó] speaks to people for their upbuilding and encouragement and consolation. 4 The one who speaks in a tongue builds up himself, but the one who prophesies [G4395 prophéteuó] builds up the church. 5 Now I want you all to speak in tongues, but even more to prophesy [G4395 prophéteuó]. The one who prophesies [G4395 prophéteuó] is greater than the one who speaks in tongues, unless someone interprets, so that the church may be built up... 39 So, my brothers, earnestly desire to prophesy [G4395 prophéteuó], and do not forbid speaking in tongues.”
  • 1Peter 1:10-11: “Concerning this salvation, the prophets who prophesied [G4395 prophéteuó] about the grace that was to be yours searched and inquired carefully, 11 inquiring what person or time the Spirit of Christ in them was indicating when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the subsequent glories.”

What is the relationship between prophets and evangelists? First of all, anyone (including children) can preach the gospel. Acts 21:8 mentions that the evangelist Philip had 4 daughters who could prophesy. But it does not say that they were evangelists. There is no direct equivalent for “evangelist” in Hebrew, but the concept of proclaiming good news is present in the Hebrew Scriptures, for example in the role of a “messenger” (מַלְאָךְ, mal'akh) or “heralds” (מְבַשֵּׂר, mevaser). In the NT, an evangelist is someone who is specially gifted and called to spread the message of salvation through Christ. This role differs from that of apostles, prophets, pastors and teachers, although they have the common goal of building up the body of Christ and spreading the kingdom of God. It is important to note that the word “evangelist” only occurs 3 times in the NT and is always mentioned in connection with men: Acts 21:8 (Philip the evangelist); Ephesians 4:11 (some apostles, prophets, evangelists, shepherds, teachers) and 2 Tim 4:5 (Timothy is said to be an evangelist).

No female evangelists are mentioned in the Bible. Instead, the Bible reports that Jesus appointed men as apostles (not a single woman!), evangelists, teachers and shepherds to lead and guide the church. The Bible mentions neither a shepherdess nor a teacher, but only the gift of prophecy, which women have of course always possessed, even in the Old Testament, where there have been no women priests over the centuries.

  • Acts 21:8-9: “And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist [Strong No. G2099, euangelistou], which was one of the seven; and abode with him. 9 And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy [Strong No. 4395 prophēteuousai].
  • Eph 44:11-14: “And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists [G2099, euaggelistés, evangelist], the shepherds and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.”
  • 2Tim 4:1-4: “I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: 2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. 3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, 4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. 5 As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist [G2099, euaggelistés, evangelist], fulfill your ministry.”
  • 2Tim 2:12-15: “I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve; 14 and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. 15 Yet she will be saved through childbearing - if they continue in faith and love and holiness, with self-control.”

6.15 Quote: “The women were the basis for spreading the word of God and had leading functions.”

Comment: It has never been the case that only men have passed on the word of God. Women have always been able to study and spread the word of God. They followed Jesus and learned from him. But they had no leading functions in either the OT or the NT church. They were never priests or preachers before men and were never placed above men as teachers in the church. Anyone who does not accept this, please show us women priests, pastors and teachers who were over men in the early Christian church. We cannot find a single one of them. Paul rebuked the Corinthian church for wanting to liberalize this divine order. The women were first at the tomb of Jesus because the men were too cowardly, but that never put them in higher positions in the church and in marriage, and it never put them above the men.

The women mentioned in the Bible were all helpers of men, but they were never the bosses or priestesses of men. Very few women's names are mentioned in the NT anyway; almost everything in the NT is about men. The helpers in the NT include Mary (the mother of Jesus), Mary Magdalene, Priscilla (Acts 18:1), Lydia (Acts 16:40), Nympha (Col 4:15), Cloe (1 Cor 1:11), Tabita (Acts 9:36), Phoebe, Priscilla, Mary, Tryphena, Tryphosa, Persis, Julia, Olympas and the mother of Rufus (Rom 16). Many of them are only mentioned in the greeting; we don't even know what else they did. Paul exhorts Evodia and Syntyche (Phil 4:2-3) to end their quarrels and be of one mind.

Question: And because of these few women's names mentioned in the NT, some women and men want to abolish the old order of Christian worship and elevate women above men? No, they should know that in doing so they are lifting themselves above God and the Lord Jesus Christ himself. One day we too will be held accountable for our words, and we don't want to look like cowards just to avoid trouble. We stand by the Bible and do not twist it to suit the spirit of the age. Jesus warns:

Mt 12:37: For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

6.16 Quote: “Women may also spread the gospel, so they may also be priests.”

Comment: We don't know of a single man who would have anything against women spreading the gospel. Children can also spread the gospel, but they cannot lead a church. When Jesus appeared to Mary as the risen Christ, she was the first to proclaim the good news (the gospel) of the resurrection. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that women are not allowed to speak to men, but it is about order in worship and marriage (1Cor 14:33-37; 1Tim 2:8-15; 1Tim 3:1-13; Eph 5:21-33; Col 3:18-25-4:1; 1Pet 3:1-7). Paul wrote the commandment of submission decades after Jesus appeared before Mary, why do all feminists want to ignore this? So women are not only allowed to spread the gospel, they must. But all humble women also adhere to what Jesus had Paul write down in the NT in connection with submission.

If Jesus had meant that women should not be subordinate in the church and in marriage and are equal to men, then He would have said so and we would NOT be having these discussions here.

But now comes the crucial point, because Jesus had the gospel written down by 4 men and all 27 books of the NT were written by men (see structure of the Bible). There is no female quota. All 4 evangelists (Mt, Mk Lk, Joh) were men and the NT only mentions male evangelists (see chapter 6.14). So without the men and their written word, the Gospel would not exist. Every quotation from the Bible quotes the words written by a man (not a woman). Women are therefore welcome to spread the gospel, because in doing so they are quoting the words of a man and of the Lord Jesus Christ.

6.17 Quote: “Romans 16:1-3 proves that women were allowed to serve and were in leadership positions.”

Comment: Romans 16:3 is often cited as alleged proof that women were allowed to hold leadership positions in the church because it mentions that women served in the church. And what is the problem? As has been proven several times above, women should serve in the church, no one has anything against it:

Rom 16:1-3: “I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea: 2 That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also. 3 Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus.”

But does that really mean that they were priestesses? No, they were servants/helpers/co-workers, as some translations say, and that is precisely the task of women. If the woman is to be the helper of the man, as God intended, then this does not mean that she is to be his boss, because God did not order the subordination of the man, but that of the woman. She is his helper, but must still be subordinate. No Christian man has anything against women helping in the church; on the contrary, there are too few good women who use their talents in the church, even if this excludes leadership positions. The same Paul who wrote the letter to the Romans also wrote the corresponding verses that forbid women to take on leadership positions in the church. Paul does not criticize Phoebe and Priscilla at all because, although they were assistants, they did not disregard the position given to them by God and did not place themselves above men. This is why Paul was able to praise these women, whereas today he would no longer praise many women in the churches, but criticize them.

Women who call Paul an alleged woman-hater are actually arguing with the Lord Jesus Christ, because it is His biblical word and it is his New Testament, He inspired the words or wrote them down, so we don't even have to have these discussions. They are the words of Jesus, not just of Paul and Peter: 1Cor 14:33-37; 1Tim 2:8-15; 1Tim 3:1-7; 1Tim 3:8-13; Eph 5:21-33: Col 3:18-25-4:1; 1Peter 3:1-7; Titus 2:3-5.

If children and women ruled in Old Testament times, it was considered a curse or punishment from God:

Jes 3:12: “As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.”

And indeed, even today some churches are still punished because women place themselves above men and twist the Word of God not only in this but also in other points and make their decisions according to moods and feelings, which they then of course interpret as being “led by the Holy Spirit”. And not even the weak men in these churches can recognize the deception, but remain cowardly silent instead of defending the words of the Lord and His servants Paul and Peter.

6.18 Quote: “Men and women were created in the image of God, therefore with God there is no distinction between the sexes.”

Comment: This quote alone clearly shows how poorly some pastors argue and how much they embarrass themselves. For man and woman are indeed created in the image of God, but subordination was only ordered AFTER creation, after the woman allowed herself to be tempted to sin and sinned first. Creation came first, then sin and only then subordination, not before. Sin was the reason.

This is why God (not a man) has placed the woman under the man in marriage and in the church. The relevant biblical passages have already been presented in detail above. There is no need for further repetition because this point is made very clear in the Bible and in the above text. The fact that only men were ever allowed to be priests and that women had to submit to their husbands applied to the OT and was made even more stringent in the NT and even brought into direct connection with following Jesus.

The woman who refuses to submit to her husband in marriage and in the church also publicly refuses to follow Jesus Christ. We see the fruits. For these rules were not established by men, but by God Himself and confirmed (but not abolished) in the NT with very clear and admonishing words. We are very grateful that we know many sisters in the Lord who accept this divine order and do not rebel against it, but follow the example of the holy women of the Bible such as Sarah, Noemi, Mary, etc. They are women who are different. They are women who are different, and they will receive high positions in the kingdom of God because they made themselves small, were obedient to the Lord Jesus and did not follow the spirit of the age. They are like the women of the first Christian church, none of whom were feminists.

Another question for pastors and female priests: When did God actually abolish the commandment of subordination for women in marriage and the church?  Certainly not in the decades of the first Christian church as described in the NT, but it is a new extra-biblical invention, which was invented especially in the ever approaching end times and the punitive judgments.

Conclusion on the 18 arguments of the female priests

As has been clearly shown, there is not a single passage in the entire Bible that allows women to take a leadership role over men in the church and to publicly place themselves above men as priests and teachers. Instead, important biblical passages are simply ignored, while other verses are brazenly taken out of context, reinterpreted or declared no longer valid for our generation. Who has the right to do this? We must speak here of a deliberate falsification emanating from some pastors.

Of the 18 arguments mentioned above, there is not a single one that could biblically make a woman a priestess and place her above men. Even the biblical prophetesses in the OT and NT did not place themselves above men, but supported them in teaching and ministry.

In churches where there are no men, the women can of course build each other up and ask wise women to bring them closer to the Word of God in the form of a leadership role. But as soon as even one man comes into the church, it is the woman's task to encourage and build up this man so that he can lead the church. That is humility and that is following Jesus Christ. This is how a man can recognize that the women in the church really love Jesus and are not just talking blah blah blah. The Lord's blessing will be in that church, but not in churches that undermine God's order and then people backslide, which is always a sign of God's coming judgment.

7. Silence and Tolerance of Women Priests is a Sin

We cannot change the world and the mainline churches certainly cannot. But when such tendencies arise in our church, we cannot simply stand by and watch. Men and women of God must not follow the spirit of the times. The order in church and marriage is clearly regulated in the Bible and demands obedience to Jesus and not reinterpretation until it suits. We must not be cowardly silent about this and must warn brothers and sisters who deviate from the Bible and introduce new teachings that the first Christian church did not have:

Hesekiel 33:7-9: “So you, son of man, I have made a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me. 8 If I say to the wicked, O wicked one, you shall surely die, and you do not speak to warn the wicked to turn from his way, that wicked person shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. 9 But if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, that person shall die in his iniquity, but you will have delivered your soul.”

8. The Power of Women

Unfortunately, men and women underestimate the power that lies in a woman. As the Bible clearly shows, the man's love for the woman was the reason why many men sinned and followed the woman more than the will of God. This was the case with Adam, Abraham, Israel (Jacob), David and Solomon. If a man truly loves a woman, then it is almost impossible to deny the woman a wish. Women need to know this because they can drive a man underground/apostasy from God through their lifestyle; but they can also transform a completely cowardly and intimidated man into a strong fighter for the church and the Word of God through their love, wisdom, support and prayer. There is great strength in women, and many women are the reason why some churches still exist and have not fallen apart. Therefore, we honor the women in our churches.

Once again, the power of women in the presence of Jesus Christ: a bad woman can make a strong man weak, but a loving and wise woman can transform a weak man into a strong servant of God who can serve beneficially in the church.

9. Obedience and Submission are not “Up to Date”

Words like “obedience” or “submission” are no longer seen as something good, but as something inferior. These people overlook the fact that those who will occupy the highest positions in the kingdom of God were the ones who were most submissive and served others. Women like Sarah, Mary or Noemi are extremely rare today, instead there are these mega power women who don't care about the word of God, reinterpreting it for today's world and occupying positions that Jesus never assigned to them. Religion instead of obedience. Agape love is very happy to submit and serve others. Obedience to Jesus means rejection, suffering and persecution in the world. Disobedience means acceptance in the world, but not with Jesus.

If the commandments of submission for women are supposedly no longer up to date today, then husbands no longer have to love their wives the way Jesus loved the church. That is no longer in keeping with the times and that is why there are so many machos and suffering, even in the churches, because many no longer take the Bible literally. Few realize what agape love really means, it is the selfless love that would rather serve others than be served. And Jesus, though He is our Lord, will also serve us in the kingdom of God, which few men and women (who are disobedient to Jesus) do not realize:

Lk 12:37: “Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes. Truly, I say to you, he will dress himself for service and have them recline at table, and he will come and serve them.”

Women who are highly respected in the church today and want to preach in front of everyone (some even in a sexy outfit) will be very small in the kingdom of God, but serving and submissive women like Sarah and Mary will be eternally blessed by Jesus and stand in much higher positions than billions of men.

God is not unjust, dear women. Through a man (Jesus) you have received forgiveness and eternal life. Through men you have received the word of God and the gospel of Jesus Christ. Is that why you want to follow Him and feel His blessing?

Even in the soccer club, at work or in the military, you must be submissive and cannot take up positions that you are not entitled to. It's the same in marriage and in the church. We should not be surprised that the refusal to submit in the charismatic, evangelical and Pentecostal churches is normal in these end times and in the lukewarm Laodicean age. And those who reflect on the Word of God and want to follow Jesus are portrayed as unloving, self-righteous, unconverted, judgmental or spiritually backward. But Jesus sees it all with completely different eyes. The day of the Rapture will make it clear to everyone which group a Christian belongs to.

10. Jesus makes a Difference between Man and Woman

It is repeatedly claimed that Jesus made no distinction between women and men because Jesus appeared to women first and because so many women followed Jesus. This is only partly true, because in the spiritual realm Jesus makes no distinction between a person's origin and gender when it comes to evaluating them spiritually. It is not gender that counts here, but only how humble a person is, how they follow Jesus' commandments and how much love they have for their neighbor.

But precisely to prevent Christians from thinking that Jesus had changed His mind about the position of women in the church and in marriage, decades after His resurrection He had his successors Paul and Peter write down that His commandment about the subordination of women in the church and in marriage had not changed and that it had even been tightened up in the spiritual realm. See chapters 2, 3 and 4. Jesus only introduced men as apostles and the NT only recognizes male bishops, deacons and evangelists. Jesus had all 4 gospels and all 27 books of the NT written down by men only, so that all women can receive the word of God from men. Jesus always made a clear distinction between the tasks for men and women. Jesus did not change his mind, as some would have us believe.

Jesus says through Paul that we should not introduce new regulations for church and marriage, but should stick to the given word of the Bible:

  • 1Cor 4:6: ...you may learn by us not to go beyond what is written...
  • Gal 1:6-9: “I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel - 7 not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.
  • Heb 13:8: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

12. Summary

The role of women in marriage and in the church is clearly and unmistakably defined in the Bible. Anyone who violates this sins against the Lord Jesus Christ himself, who made himself small and served his bride (the church). Many ignore the clear biblical passages and instead spread a different gospel in which the words of Paul and Peter no longer need to be heeded because the Holy Spirit has supposedly abolished them and adapted them to the spirit of the age. NO: No one has yet been able to refute us biblically. These people ignore clear biblical passages, quote only verses that apply to both (man and woman), or twist the Bible by taking the texts out of context (see chapter 6) or even falsify the statements (see chapter 6) because they want to abolish the old order of the Bible.

When God says “proof/test everything and keep what is good...” (1 Thess 5:21), this also refers to the position of women in marriage and the church, and if you really examine all of this, you have to admit that the Bible is EXTREMELY clear and EXTREMELY clear, at least on this point. We don't need to repeat the biblical passages here, because they are already written above. It couldn't be clearer.

In Chapter 6 (The seductive arguments of women priests/pastors, quotes) it was clearly shown that there is not a single passage in the entire Bible that would place women ahead of men as leaders as priests, pastors and preachers. All existing biblical passages speak against it. Chapter 6 has also shown how arrogantly women and men argue and how they piously try to destroy the order of Jesus and deceive the children of God.

We have pointed out God's order on this website and ask all those who disagree with it to show us where we have got it wrong and where it should be biblically evident that God has called women to the priesthood. But this requires arguments other than those mentioned in chapter 6, which are often forgeries.

The following questions are also relevant:

  1. Which book of the Bible was written by a woman and why is the entire Word of God written only by men? Discrimination? Discrimination? Injustice?
  2. Why did Jesus not feel discriminated against when He made himself small and served his church and even washed their feet?
  3. Why is there not a single female priest/bishop/deacon appointed by God in the entire Bible, but only male priests, bishops and deacons?
  4. Why did Jesus choose 12 male apostles and not a single female apostle? Quotas for women? Is that discrimination?
  5. Where in the Bible does it say that a woman can place herself above a man and that the subordination of women in the church and in marriage is abolished? Do you describe God's order in the church, marriage and community as described in the Bible as discrimination against women?
  6. Paul and Peter clearly defined the role of women in the church (many biblical passages above) and which biblical passages, in contrast, are supposed to show that it should be different today and that these rules have been abolished in the NT and no longer apply to women in our time? Where does it say that the Holy Spirit supposedly says that we should no longer listen to the Bible?
  7. Why did Jesus want Paul and Peter, decades after His resurrection and His appearance to the women (to whom He first appeared), to make it clear to the churches that subordination in marriage and in the church is still valid for women?
  8. Paul only speaks of men as bishops and deacons and Peter confirmed that we should listen to Paul. Where do you find in the Bible that these rules of subordination in marriage and the church have been abolished and that women can now also hold all the offices of the church and that the Bible no longer applies? Where do we read anything about women priests authorized by God in the OT and NT and where does it say that the Holy Spirit supposedly declares biblical passages from the NT to be invalid?

By the way, our sisters in the Lord see it the same way, we never have an argument about it and that is exactly what distinguishes these holy women from the religious women in the world and in the Laodicean churches. The holy women follow God's instructions and are happy to submit. The other women and men follow the spirit of the times and worldly commandments and values and place themselves above the instructions of Jesus. The Day of the Lord will reveal the difference for all.

The terrible truth for all Christian feminists is: the entire Bible, the entire Word of God was given to us by the hands and mouths of men, and women can only know about God and Jesus by listening to the written word of men. Without men, there is no Word of God, no Bible. With every quote a woman uses from the Bible, she is quoting the words of a man because God (not man) wanted all scripture to be preached by men or passed on to women. God created a clear order between man and woman in marriage and in the church, and this order has been in place since the fall of man, and either we are obedient to Jesus or we are rebellious in the end times and follow the demonic spirit of the age, there is no in between.
